Seldom if ever, does the Markets and News button reflect the current market info on the iPad app. Im sure this is a simple fix......so fix it already!!

Is this app the work of Hillary Clinton? Drain the swamp.
What if I want to see my account history? So I can see if I have a loss or gain, but I am not able to see when any of it occurred. Did I lose money because of the election just last night? Did my stock drop slowly over the past 30 days? We use our phones for everything now, why wouldnt you think I would want to actually be able to manage my account from my phone. This just feels like fluff with no real substance.
Try again Scottrade, your app doesnt work....
iOS gives a warning that this app may slow down your device because it hasnt been updated. If I were the developer of this app, I would be embarrassed. You might as well stick to the website because I couldnt even get this thing to log into my account.
Can you reinstate the old app while you repair the the current one? I could not log off from the app, so I had to delete it.
So hard to get the info I need - ugh!! Get Touch ID login like the rest of the half-decent companies out there - typing my info 10+ times a day stinks....unless you dont want me to really USE your app?!? I often wonder if that might be the case as I click and swipe through several screens trying to find what I am looking for...horrible to navigate. Maybe Scottrade is really designed to use from a computer rather than a mobile device...that needs to change if you have an APP!
Does everything I needed it to do: make trades, check balances, transfer money. Works well for me but could improve stock analysis info. Other apps for this anyway.
I cannot understand why scottrade cannot fix this horrible app
This app needs so much improvement. First, it does not allow you to view your mutual funds and says the ticker is "invalid", so there is no way to see how your MF investments are performing. Second, there are no tools to do any stock screens, or other research. You can pretty much check your balances and submit orders. Very weak design and Im conferees moving my account due to their lack of innovation.
Scottrade recently update the veneer on their browser (an unnecessary change really) but have yet to properly offer a quality app for their platform. This app does function... to a point, just dont expect to buy or view mutual funds or run any stock or fund filters on it; Or research dividends; Or set the DRIP up. Not to mention, the performance history is lacking. Compared to the browser this app is about 20% of what it needs to be to truly be useful. I actually end up using the browser on my devices, which is difficult due to button sizes not scaling well. Scottrade should drop a few bucks and have a decent app developed. It would really help the community.
Illogical menu system. Cannot find my positions or do anything easily. Touch access does not exist. You can trade but good luck if you want to know anything about current bid/ask. Charles Schwab app works better. TD Ameritrade is rated a 4 star. Maybe I should jump there before the merger.
This app is terrible for looking at your Scottrade account. At best, I can see the value of my portfolio, the current price of stocks, and trade very clumsily. The view of my current positions is abysmal -- it is not possible to see when Ive made buys and sells of the stocks I own and what the price was then. The charting is also terrible, I can only see the price chart for the current day. This makes me want to take all my money out of Scottrade and put it somewhere else where I can intelligently trade using a mobile app.
Constantly displays "please refresh for current data" So you push refresh button or login or any key. "Please refresh for current data"
This app doesnt have the most user friendly interface but it does get the job done when I am not around a computer. What I am worried about the most with using this app is the lack of security. I have enabled Touch ID in settings, however the Scottrade app will not check my finger print every single time I open this app. Currently this app only requires your finger print the first time you open the app. Youd have to close the app completely in order for it to ask for your finger print again. If Scottrade app developers could make Touch ID required every time I open the app that would be a huge plus. For an example of what I am talking about you can reference the Robinhood stock trading app.
I like Scottrades app except for one critical issue. It locks up on a regular basis and only fix I have found is to delete app and reinstall
It does make the basic functions easy but this app is not user friendly at all. I have better chances just going on my computer and using their website. This app needs a big time overhaul.
Spent more time trying to login than app is worth. It continually cleared entries after entering account and password. Works on web. Dont waste time on app. In fact i may move my account. Its that worthless.
This app looks like it was made in 2010 and hasnt been updated since then. Its aesthetically terrible. Please improve.
The application only supports customers with one account. If you have multiple accounts with Scottrade, you will have to log out and reopen each account separately. You can not navigate between multiple Scottrade accounts. This would be a great addition. Also, theres no notifications of successful deposits or trades. Alert features needs to be added, as well.
